Happy October everyone!

I love October and we officially got all the Halloween decorations out on Monday. Dustin and I have a deal that I wait until October 1 to start decorating. I let the girls wear their Halloween clothes on Monday as well and I decided to snap some pictures. Hope they make you as excited for Halloween as I am. (We even have all our Halloween costumes already! The older girls are both going to be witches and Lilly is going to be their little black cat.) And all our cousins will be getting a surprise in the mail as well!

Lilly totally looks like a little boy in these pictures I think. It is the part in her hair. I didn't notice it when I was taking the pictures but she is still SOO cute! This was supposed to be the one making a scary face. Is anyone scared of how pointy Joselyn's tongue is? I think Lilly was. Blow up the picture and you will see it better. I love seeing all three of my blue eyed girls.
CHEEEEEESE!!!!! That little crooked smile just makes Dustin and I laugh. She seriously looks CRAZY in this picture. If you blow it up and look at her eyes I think she IS crazy. I think I have figured out where she gets this smile for pictures. Scroll back up and look at Maddy in the first picture. Do you see any resemblance?
This pumpkin was given to the girls on Sunday by one of my friends who had used it as a prop for something. They have named it Junior and it kept them busy for HOURS on Sunday. They actually played with it like it was a pet and they took turns "taking care of it". Finally when they brought it to the table while we were eating dinner, because obviously it needed to eat too, Dustin told them to put it away. They started complaining about it and I told them that Junior would probably like to stay away from the dinner table because he is a vegetable and we might eat him and that it was probably making him nervous. So they looked at each other and bolted with the pumpkin to hide him behind the pillows of the couch. I guess they agreed with me.
I can't tell you how long it took me to just get Maddy to sit there and smile normally and not pose or make a really wierd smiling face.

Love the pics! I constantly decorate and change things and add things and all of that. We haven't narrowed down the costumes yet. Kai wants "Tarzan" or "Troy" and Jadyn will figure it out one of these days!

I love the pictures! Funny thing about halloween clothes. Darrell bought the kids halloween pj's for his gift while he was in Nashville.(We are practical- they needed more pj's so that was their gift!) Anyway Ashlee came home from school saying a girl in her class was wearing her pj shirt to school. I thought that was kind of strange. Then I went to Wal- Mart and there are the cute pj's my husband bought, but they are regular clothes. I had to explain it to Ashlee so she wouldn't hurt the girl's feelings.
