It all started about a year ago. Joselyn got a little snowman that was identical to the one she is holding in this picture. You know the sort, they move, they sing, they annoy every bone in your body.....THOSE toys. Anyway she got it last Christmas and loved it, and played with it a lot, and it got all ragged, and the song didn't sing much anymore, and I was thankful.
Well I was cleaning out old toys in February or March in preperation for our move here and I got rid of two bags full of stuffed animals. (Before anyone worries too much, its okay, my girls still have more stuffed animals than could fit in a stadium.) Well I made the executive decision to get rid of The Beloved Snowman. I thought, Chirstmas is over, that thing is annoying, she will forget and get over it. I WAS WRONG! For about the last seven months or so The Beloved Snowman has been a major source of depression for this little girl. She thinks she lost it and I couldn't bear to tell her that it was actually mommy who threw it away. So I have continued to let her think that she must have left it somewhere, it is so wrong on so many levels. Anyway we were at Wal-Mart (shout out to Alissa) yesterday and low and behold The Beloved Snowman is there. The same one, with the same unearthly voice singing "jingle bells". Joselyn saw The Beloved Snowman and about had a heart attack she was so excited. There was nothing I could do. I had to buy The Beloved Snowman. I couldn't say no to that little face that was so full of love for The Beloved Snowman. So I told her she had to give me all her money and she agreed immediately and she handed me over.........her two quarters. And Joselyn is the proud owner of The Beloved Snowman once again. Now instead of being hated for throwing The Beloved Snowman away now I am a hero for saving the day and getting her a new one. There is nothing wrong with that.......NOTHING WRONG WITH THAT.......... I don't want to hear it.
