Happy Birthday Part II

All right, so here are 500 more pictures about Lilly's birthday. If you hadn't noticed yet I like to take pictures and of course I can't ever choose which ones to post and so I always end up posting WAY to many. But I figure I like to look at them and I know that it is one way for Dustin to see them and I think that grandmas like to see them as well (at least that is what they tell me). So here they are.......the party pictures.

This is how the day began.....

Not out of the ordinary but not exactly how I wanted to spend Lilly's birthday. I tried really hard not to lose it today on her birthday but she certainly pushes me right to the edge. She snuck out my make-up bag that I thought I put high enough on a counter. She crushed my blush into Maddy and Josey's bedroom carpet and then proceeded to put my lipstick on. That is when I found her and took the make-up away which was followed by screams of, "MY MAKE-UP!!!!" and tears. By the evening she had turned back into a little angel and she was ready for her birthday.

We opened Grandma Beth's package first and a little early because I knew that she had sent her a couple of cute outfits and I wanted to get some cute pictures of her at her party.

Isn't that the cutest box? I am so excited to find a use for it and put it somewhere cause I love it!She is inordinately excited by cards. It is really quite cute.

No matter that the box was filled clothes and toys, as soon as Lilly saw candy that was it for her. I ended up having to pull the other things out and show her amidst candy wrappers flying in my face.

Thank you Grandma Beth. She looked so cute and I have more to post about the other packages tomorrow!Do you ever have those days when you are trying to get a cute picture and you can't seem to get a good picture for anything?! That was tonight. Everything was either blurry or someone was making a weird face. I couldn't quite get the picture I was looking for with Lilly but these were good enough I guess.

Obviously we had a Dora party. She was very very excited about it.
She LOVED her crayon candles and originally there were only two in there but then unbeknown to me she started sticking the rest of them in. The kids thought it was pretty funny that by the time she was done she had ten candles in.
I was actually surprised she knew what to do. I can't imagine she remembers how to blow out candles but apparently she does because as soon as Dustin said, "Blow out your candles" she blew them out. It seemed weird to me. She is the first birthday of the year and the last birthday we had was Josey's last July so it's not even like she has seen someone blow out candles recently. I don't know? I guess she must have noticed it somewhere. She loved her cake and was surprisingly clean with it. She had tow big pieces and two helpings of ice cream. I think she was in heaven.

After she tired of eating her cake she went back to putting crayons in the cake. She thought it was so funny and kept trying to put them in the holes that were already in the cake.
Then she noticed the cloud and actually asked me if she could put them in the cloud. I told her she could and this was the result. It was so cute!

Grandma and Grandpa Moyes sent Lilly some money in her card and this is how she spent it. She LOVED it! Thank you Grandma and Grandpa. Lilly finally has a "bike" that she can take outside and ride with her sisters.

This morning when Maddy and Josey told Lilly she was going to open presents today she got SO excited and had been waiting ALL DAY for the presents.
This picture is just funny to me because of Josey's face. It really cracks me up.

One of the other presents Lilly got was a bubble blower. I know this picture doesn't really look like it but she was so excited when we turned it on!
This was the best picture I could get of us together. By the time we started taking pictures of me and her she was pictured out. Oh well, it is still cute. At least she looks happy with me.Lilly and daddy getting ready for bed.

We tried to take a quick snapshot of us together and it actually turned out decent. I won't say what I usually say about my pictures but just know that I am thinking it, but really trying to be better about accepting my pictures.
I had to add this picture in because once again Josey's face CRACKS me up. You have to blow it up and look at it. HILARIOUS!

Of course I had to include pictures of the other two because I have fairness issues as a middle child. jk...okay not really, I really do have issues but I just thought these were cute pictures of Maddy and Josey and I wanted to give them props for their help with Lilly's birthday. They have been so cute about Lilly's birthday. I guess they are just getting older, but there were no jealousy issues or pouting once during the day! MIRACLE! They have been looking forward to her birthday for days and have been counting down forever. Josey even told me last night that she wasn't going to be able to sleep because she was so excited for Lilly's party, and Maddy told me it was a very special day for her as well because it was Lilly's birthday. This morning they couldn't wait to run into Lilly's room as soon as she woke up and before school to wish her a happy birthday. They helped me wrap the presents the night before and ended up dividing up the presents that were "from" each of them and so Maddy gave her three and Josey gave her three and mommy and daddy ended up collectively giving her....... a coloring book. So, thank you to my two big helpers Maddy and Josey!
