Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow

Mom this is for you. Don't ever say I don't love you! Please take note at what time I am posting this. That is how long it has taken me to get to this post but I don't want grandma wrath tomorrow. My camera kept running out of batteries and so Beck has a bunch of cuter pictures on her camera. You will have to pester her to put them on her blog. I have done my duty.

We had spring break last week and I was SO excited because my sister and her four kids kids drove all the way up from California to visit. We had SO much fun and I already desperately miss her and wish she were back. But I was so excited to show her Oregon and prove to everyone that it doesn't have terrible weather all the time. What do you know? The four days that she was here I think it SNOWED everyday! Not just rained but SNOWED! It was so cold and didn't make it the easiest thing to have seven little kids stuck in the house all weekend.

They fortunately found lost of fun things to do and everyone for the most part got a long really really well. And that is saying a lot when you recognize that there were six little GIRLS running around.

Just wanted to show you that all the kids were healthy at my house. Look at all those bugar-free noses. Lilly, Maddy, Claudia, Josey, and Georgia (We were only missing Julia in this picture.)

The fort! What cracks me up is look at that marker Georgia has and where it is headed.

I think they started to go stir crazy after a few days.

We stuck Bear in the dryer with his jammies and turned it on and look what he did! He is amazing.

Bear is the sweetest. most easy-going, baby boy. I just want to eat him up. I am secretly hoping that Becky and Ryan die so that I can have all their kids! jk

On Friday we headed over to this indoor playground called Safari Sam's. I had heard that it was pretty fun. Well I will report that it was the most stressful place I have ever been. I can't even go into detail because I am to tired but it was not really suited to the age group of children we had in tow. I think that Bear and Lilly had the best time because they were the happiest in the little toddler area.

This picture cracks me up because it looks like an awkward first date picture doesn't it?

I think Georgia is built like Beck don't you think? I thought this would be the best picture to illustrate that. jk Beck!

Claudia was such a big help all week. She is really growing up! She helped all the little kids and watched them a bunch for Becky and I. I still can't believe how old she is! What a beautiful girl.

If we measured happiness in double chins Lilly would rank at about a 9. She had TONS of fun. I don't really want to rank myself....feel free to rank your double chin excitement level though.

FINALLY on Monday we got a little bit of sunshine and we quickly headed down to the park down the street. Everyone had a great time for all of about 15 minutes until the clouds started covering up our precious heat source and we all froze to death and sprinted back home and made hot chocolate.

This is the girls making some sort of "potion" out of the poisonous berry bushes. Becky taught them everything they know from her days with Lara and Robyn up in the Las Trampas hills.

At the park near our house we have this wierd baby head bush that grows baby heads. I thought this was the cutest of the bunch.

What I shouldn't tell you, because it will incriminate Maddy, is that this is how Julia died. I actually caught it on the camera. Maddy was the culprit, it was the rock in her hand. We will all miss Julia.

I am trying to prepare Josey for being blind someday....just in case.

Beck headed for home on Tuesday morning. Just getting out the door with four kids is so hard! She got the car packed up and then went to get all the kids loaded in. This is how she found bear. Georgia was even better though. She was the last to get in the car. when Becky went in to find her she immediately smelled nail polish and sprinted up the stairs. She found Georgia "painting" her finger nails ( and I use nails liberally). Luckily for me she didn't get much on the carpet and luckily for Becky she didn't get any on her clothes.

I already miss you Beck and I am SO glad that you came. I know it isn't the easiest to travel with so many little kids and so far but thank you for braving it and coming to visit us. We need to do it again soon. You are welcome anytime. Maddy and Josey have already started planning the next time you guys come. I love you!

There is nothing better than a sister coming to visit with cousins for the kids to play with!! I am so glad your sister got to come and do that. Sorry that it snowed. It was pretty lousy weather here for Spring Break too.

I apologize for all my lame comments on here. As I read it back this morning I was laughing because it was OBVIOUSLY 1 in the morning when I was writing it.
