the real nativity with Sam the Sheperd

My mom sent the girls a really fun early Christmas package full of candy and goodies. They were so excited! Thank you SO much mom. One thing she sent them was a really cute little nativity set for each of the girls. I think that was the most exciting thing to ever happen to them, they were so excited. I don't have a nativity set so they felt really special to have their own. But they were so excited, it prompted them to act out the nativity on their own. So they found costumes and started acting it out. I wasn't even paying attention until Dustin asked me if I got a picture of Joselyn leading Maddy on the horse. I made them reenact it because it was so funny. Maddy was Mary and Joselyn REFUSED to be Joseph so she was Sam the shepherd instead leading Mary to Bethlehem. The funniest part to me was the candle on Josey's head. I don't know where that came from but that was a very important part of what was going on apparently. Lilly was the baby Jesus sleeping on the floor. She actually laid on the floor and pretended to sleep by making snoring noises. Apparently The angel outfit and Sam the shepherd outfit worked for each because Joselyn was the angel in the first picture and the shepherd in the last.

That is so hilarious! My kids were also reenacting the Nativity and it was so hilarious what they came up with! The candle is my favorite part!
