We got a hair cut!

Maddy decided that she had had enough of her long hair and that it was time to cut it. It looks adorable! We love it! She is just growing up so big.When we got there it ended up that we cut off SO much that they were able to donate it to Locks for Love. So we even got a free hair cut out of it and she was so proud that she got to donate her hair. She has such beautiful hair that there is going to be a really lucky little girl out there! And it was time to say good-bye to her trusty second grade boots. She wore these boot almost everyday for almost 6 month this last year. She just loved them! And they are pretty cute. But alas they have ripped in very crucial points and we figured that by the time she needs to wear them again they won't fit and we will have to get new ones. So instead of keeping them around (which is what Maddy wanted to do) we decided to take a cute picture of her with her boots. I have to admit they kinda hold a soft spot for me as well. I will always remember Maddy in her polk-a-dot boots in the second grade.

By the way we were cleaning out our disgusting garage which is why the picture is in there. And I forgot to bring my camera for our July 4th celebration so if I ever get any pictures from people I will have to blog about that later. I have to say though that we had a blast and that our neighborhood is THEE BEST when it came to fireworks. We didn't even have to go find any big fireworks because they were going off all around us. Not the safest or mot legal thing but we enjoyed it none the less.
