Baby update....

Ok. Truth be told there isn't much to update. EXCEPT that I was supposed to meet with my doctor on Friday. It had been almost 2 weeks, when really we are supposed to be meeting every week. During this time I have had some serious swelling and just some questions that I had been saving up to talk to her about. And she was going to check me, which doesn't usually make me excited to have something like that happen but, when you are 8 and a half months pregnant these are milestone appointments. Mostly because I am able to convince myself that she will check me and send me directly to the hospital because I will already be dilated to a 6......right? So I was disappointed when the doctor got called out and we had to reschedule my appointment for later that afternoon. I thought at least I will be able to see her that afternoon. SO 3:30 rolls around and wouldn't you know it, she wasn't able to make it back and isn't going to be able to see anyone for the rest of the day. Seriously, I hate to admit it but I started crying, NOT ON THE PHONE THOUGH thankfully. So I told the nurse the things that I wanted to ask the doctor about and the swelling that was going on. She said she would talk to my doctor and see if she thought anything was seriously wrong. So about an hour later the nurse called me back and said that the doctor did in fact want me to come in and check my blood pressure and urine just to make sure everything was okay. So at that point I had to RUSH to pick up kids from piano lessons and race over to the doctors office to make it before they closed so that I didn't have to haul everyone over to the hospital. I rush into the office a little flustered and tired and the kids bouncing of the walls. The nurse goes to take my blood pressure (and secretly I was hoping it would be abnormally high) and it was really low! WHAT?! How is that even possible? I do have very low blood pressure normally but I was so disappointed! Isn't that ridiculous? So now I joke that apparently I am VERY relaxed about having this baby. And there isn't really anything else to report. My next appointment is Tuesday morning and if she isn't able to keep the appointment then I will INSIST that someone, anyone in that office, check me and tell me what I want to here and that is that I will have this baby very very soon.

That happened to me where I knew something was not right but my blood pressure was still considered "normal" and I was so mad!! I just wanted an explanation of what the heck was going on!

All of my babies I swell to horrible proportions, I have strch marks on my calves and arms from swelling so big. I would always hope that my blood pressure was high so that they would induce me but no, apparently I am a camel and retain every drop of water I come in to contact with. The amazing thing is after you have the baby you pee for like 3 weeks nonstop. I hope that they induce you on Tues.

I hate the waiting game! The last few weeks are the WORST! You are just so ready to move onto the next step and actually hold the baby in your arms instead of knowing this baby is growing and stretching you out and it's so hard on every part of your body!Good luck- you're almost there! I'm so excited for you guys- I promise it's a lot of fun with 4 little girls! (your older two will shock you how much they can help with! Lexi knows how to help with dinner, Ashlee will carry Bay around to help entertain her- now I know how mom's can have like 8 kids, no I'm not going to have 8 though!)

I want you to have the baby already! It seems like this month is going too slow. I can't wait to have another niece!

With Jadyn I was very nervous and so my blood pressure was high! But it still took them awhile to get on board with the idea. Luckily, every time I called or went in it was the same nurse and she felt so bad for me that she finally admitted me.

Hang in there. We are all anxiously waiting!
