Well look what FINALLY decided to show itself today! THE SUN! I can't tell you how much we needed this. It was a beautiful day today and we spent most of the afternoon at the spray park enjoying the heat of the sun.
And FINALLY school is officially out! I took pictures of the girls on their first day of school and on the last day of school. They have definitely gotten bigger and their hair has for sure gotten longer! Hopefully they will let me cut it this summer FINALLY.
Josey's last day of school was yesterday but Maddy still had a half day today to finish up. She was awake at 5:45 so excited to go to school and have her last fun day of signing yearbooks and playing with her friends. When we went to greet her off the bus she came off in tears. She is so my child! I asked her what was wrong and she said that she was just really going to miss her teacher and friends. She wasn't excited for summer vacation she was just going to miss her teacher! I think that she definitely has issues with how much we have moved and how every year she has had to go to a different school. She never seems to see the same kids two years in a row. So maybe subconsciously when school gets out she starts feeling like this is the last time she is ever going to see everyone again! So I started getting as many phone numbers of the kids that I could so that we could have lots of play dates this summer to give her some sort of stability.....for a while until we move again!

It's amazing how big they look when you comapre pictures like that! Way to go on finishing a school year! Hopefully the sun will stay out for you so you can enjoy it a bit. Poor Maddy! Play lots this summer and have fun!!
Wow they DO look bigger! I love that Josie smile! SO funny!
i love josey's eyes in the last picture. i can't believe how fast their hair has grown, why can't i be that lucky. maddy is so funny, i love that she cares that much about her teacher... how come maddy doesn't cry when she leaves me? haha. maybe this summer... that will be my goal, to have maddy cry when we say bye.
My girls cry when everyone leaves.....except you Alli! That is totally true! I didn't even think about it until you brought that up. You must not be as special to them as EVERYONE else. I mean they even cried when Dustin's brother Paul left......but not you.....WAIT! You have NEVER visited us. But they probably still wouldn't cry if you came to visit us.
Oh and I love Josey's eyes as well. She is so afraid that she is going to blink in pictures that her eyes tend to take on that "crazy" look.
What a difference 9 months makes - they really do look bigger and older!
