So tonight I decided that I was NOT cooking dinner. I was WAY too hot!! So I decided to look at my coupons and Albertson's double coupons and figure out what I could buy cheap and easy without "going out to eat". Here is what I came up with:
TRANSACTION #1:
4 California Pizza Kitchen pizzas, $10
-$3-- Kraft promotion
-$4-- 4, 1/1 pizza coupon, (5/17 SS)
-$3--3, Albertson's double coupons
OOP: FREE
TRANSACTION #2:
4 Digiorno flat bread melts, $10
-$3-- Kraft promotion
-$3-- 2, 1.50/1 Digiorno coupons (I printed this somewhere I while ago and can't remember where, sorry)
-$1.50-- 2, .75/1 Digiorno coupons (5/17 SS)
-$2.75-- 3, Albertsons doubles
OOP: FREE + $.25
I added my produce to this transaction with 5lbs worth of grapes ($.99/lbs) and 4 lbs of strawberries ($4.99 for 4lbs) and used the Albertson's produce coupon (found in this weeks ad)to get a dollar off. I don't usually like to end up with an absolute zero balance or looking like they technically owe me money because I don't think the cashiers take that very well! :) And Josey wanted to bring in the fruit for her "birthday" treat tomorrow for her class. But really....they paid me a quarter to feed my family pizza tonight! Can I get a YEE HAW!
The girls loved eating their own individual pizza and a delicious fruit salad and best of all I didn't have to spend much time in the kitchen or money out of the pocket!!
Oh the possibilities this week! Thank you Albertson's for your beloved double coupons.....
