If this doesn't make you clip coupons then I don't think you ever will.....

So this post is for all my sisters (in-law included) and friends that I have talked to about clipping coupons and maybe haven't decided if it is worth the time and energy. Take a look at this.... If I had gone to the store to purchase these things this would have cost me around 38 dollars. I went to Walgreens and KMart today and actually all this cost me was.......NOTHING!!! It was free people! At Walgreens I bought the soap and shampoo and because of the way I was able to put the coupons together from a couple of different websites I actually got paid two dollars when all was said and done! Then I went over to KMart where they are having a double coupon week and picked up three kids toothpastes for 50 cents a piece with my coupons. So I essentially I paid nothing or actually earned .50 cents in this transaction. CLIP YOUR COUPONS!!!!

And here is Lilly singing her favorite song. It is "Once Upon A Dream" from Sleeping Beauty.

MORE TO COME!!

29 days and counting.........

How weird is this?

So Josey came running home from school the other so excited to open up her backpack. She came rushing in telling me she caught a butterfly and that it was in her backpack. I assumed she must have caught it on the walk from the bus stop and that it would naturally be dead in her backpack. Well that wasn't the case. Apparently she caught a random butterfly next to the drinking fountain IN HER CLASSROOM that morning! She put it in her backpack without telling her teacher because she wanted to bring it home. She opened up her backpack and it was ALIVE! The thing was alive!
That is a real butterfly! The weirdest part is that it like played with the girls all afternoon. It would just sit on their hands and fly around and then land back on them somewhere. It wouldn't go far and then come back and just sit there on a shoulder or something while they walked around. How weird is that?

I finally convinced Josey to let the butterfly go that evening. I told her that we didn't have anything to keep it in or anything to feed it and that it would really be happier if she let it go. She finally did it with a sad heart and cried for "her best friend" for like a half hour, all the while asking me if I felt bad for her? I wasn't allowed to say the word butterfly for the rest of the day either. Which is really really hard because you know how many times you want to say butterfly in everyday conversation. But it really was a very weird butterfly.

I LOVE coupons!

I have completely turned into the crazy lady at the grocery store that is holding up the line because she has all these coupons and knows exactly how much everything she is buying is and why it isn't ringing up properly .....yes.....that is me. But it makes me so excited to get so much for so little that I can't help myself! Look at what I purchased today! I got all of this for less than 50 dollars! I shopped at Walgreen's and Safeway.

Here are my beauty supplies.
Here are my cleaning supplies.
Here is my food.
Here is my medicine.
50 DOLLARS!!! How exciting is that? And here is the best part, I saved, 106.00 dollars! That is CRAZY! Man I love the grocery game. And tomorrow I am on to Albertson's.

encore.....encore!

Last night Josey wanted me to video tape her singing again and I just had to post the funniest one because it is just too funny. She just recently saw parts of the Disney movie Camp Rock and that is where this song and.....scene is from. She is too funny and I would just like to say that I think I do a pretty good job holding in the laughter. Imagine watching that in person and not laughing! Sorry it is so dark.

For some reason it posted extremely dark which is unfortunate because the facial expressions were THEE best! Sorry.

Here are some little snippets from the show. Sorry some are sideways..... I hate that.

Dustin was a GREAT MC as expected!

Maddy told her jokes like a true actress. You never would have guessed at how nervous she was!I was really surprised at how well she told her jokes. She had true comedic timing and inflection! She is working on a song for the next talent show. She just wasn't quite prepared with one for this time. Plus she displayed some of her beautiful artwork.

And Josey sang her ever famous "Rockstar" rendition. As you can tell in the video her nerves seemed to get the better of her as compared to this. But she sounded beautiful and I am amazed that she could get up there at 6 and sing that song up on the big stage with a spotlight on her all by herself!

And these next two shots are for the Danville folk. This is Brother and Sister B doing their contribution, "The Grand Mamas and the Papas". It was truly funny. I wish that I could have gotten a better shot of Roger with his great wig on but Sharon was seriously priceless! Man I hope I look that good when I am her age!
