IKEA vs. Home Depot

Last night Dustin and I did something we have NEVER done before. We were excited and I think Dustin was a little nervous but we did it anyway. We went to IKEA. We couldn't think of anything to do for our date and so Dustin suggested we drive out to the new IKEA here and take a look around. I really liked the store and I like how they set it up to direct you the entire time where to go and what to see. YOU HAVE TO STAY ON THE PATH. Sometimes I get a little overwhelmed when I walk into furniture stores and I don't know where to go first. But I could have stayed in IKEA for hours just looking at all the rooms. But we realized something while we were there. Dustin hates furniture stores as much as I hate home improvement stores. He was SOOOO funny in there and we were both laughing. He was seriously having mini panic attacks as we would walk through. He was so overwhelmed and just wanted to leave the store. He was like, "Do I have to pick a style or something?" Which I thought was really funny. He kept kinda cracking his neck like he was stressed and he just wanted to walk through as fast as we could. We still had a really good time and he was good to indulge me and take it a little slower if there was something I wanted to see, but we were laughing the whole time at how stressed it made him. But in his defense that is exactly how I feel when we walk into Home Depot or something. He is like a kid in a candy store and I can barely drag my feet into the store. It's like my brain immediately goes into overload and I just want to leave the store. I feel like there is too much to look at and I don't know where to go. I get kinda stressed and just overwhelmingly bored. It's not that I hate home improvement projects or that there aren't fun things to look at in Home Depot. But aisles and aisles of nuts and bolts and screws and fifty different kinds of drills just isn't exciting to me. I just want to go straight to the lighting dpeartment and look at all the pretty lights. Dustin just wanted to see if they had an electronics department in IKEA. He kept holding out hope that we would come across the electronics department on our little path. Anyway I think that I will have to go to IKEA by myself or with a girlfriend and I will leave Dustin to the home improvement stores.

It's officially done with

It is official! Dustin was sworn in today down in Salem and he can now legally practice law as an Oregon attorney. YEAH! Way to go Dustin! We are so relieved that the last process is over and we are done done done. We drove down to Salem with the girls today to go to the swearing in and after we had been driving about a half hour I realized that I forgot the camera. I hate that. I wanted to get some pictures of Dustin taking his oath for evidence later on in his practice. jk But seriously I got all the girls dressed up cute and we all matched wearing different brown dresses and everyone looked so cute I was excited to maybe get a picture with everyone looking half way decent, because it so rarely happens. But alas no camera. It turned out okay thought because once we got there Dustin went in and registered and signed some document and then we went to go sit down in the auditorium. Well the swearing in in Las Vegas was a little different than the one here. In Las Vegas all the attorneys had to sit down front together leaving the families in the back. It was okay last time because I had Dustin's parents with me and I only had the two older girls. So I was gearing up to have to sit all alone with all three girls and that was a daunting task to me. To have to keep them quiet, especially Lilly for 45 minutes is literally impossible. I bought new coloring books and let the girls pick a special piece of candy to eat during the ceremony to keep their mouths occupied and started drilling them on what they do if I have to take Lilly out. Well, when we went to sit down I was pleasantly surprised that Dustin could sit with us. I was very relieved. Then we started thinking, do we even have to be here? So Dustin went and asked someone if he had to stay and actually take the oath and they said no. He had already signed the oath paper and the ceremony was just for our enjoyment. Well we opted to enjoy ourselves somewhere else. We left! We drove all the way down there to sign a piece of paper. We still had a good time. We found a mall and walked around for a while and just hung out with the girls. So we didn't actually see Dustin raise his hand and take an oath but I am okay with that. Good job anyway Dusti-poo.

How much weight did she gain?

So I don't know who else heard about this story but......oh......my.......gosh. This woman in Russia had a seventeen pound baby girl. SEVENTEEN POUNDS!!!! Can you even imagine? I don't even want to think about the labor of that child but on the flip side I know I am always secretly hoping I give birth to a seventeen pound baby as that would justify some of my weight gain when I am pregnant. Am I right? (On a side note she does not hold the record for largest baby ever born. That would be a 23 pound baby boy that was born in Italy in the 1950's.)

domestic godess

I have never wanted to become a domestic godess in my life. I will begin by saying that. I never have had desires to bake bread or can my own vegetables, have a garden, or scrapbook. All these things by the way fall under the category of domestic godess in my head. BUT as I have gotten older there are things that for some reason I am finding internal desires to accomplish. I would love to have a garden now and I have to admit I am warming up to scrapbooking. But I did something today that in my mind qualifies me as a domestic godess.....in training. I baked bread! I baked my own bread, from scratch, without a bread maker. I have actually never even baked bread WITH a breadmaker but I made this from scratch. Now my mom will tell you that I have in fact baked bread before with her.....when I was little. I don't exactly think that counts as domestic godess training. Anything before the age of ten doesn't count. So today was a milestone for me that I am quite proud of, to be honest. I really never thought I would want to bake bread. What I found out today is that I really really enjoyed baking bread! What a surprising bonus! I could have been that my friend came over to show me how and basically stayed the whole day visiting as we "waited for the bread to rise". It was nice to have someone to talk to all day and hang out with and I am sure that had something to do with the positive imprint baking bread has on my brain. (On a side note Joselyn had so much fun helping especially kneading the bread. She even got to make four little rolls out of her bread dough. She was so excited.) So I am excited to try it on my own. And how delicious is fresh baked bread out of the oven with butter.....mmm..mmm...goood.

Are actors just really good liars?

Recently Joselyn (5 yrs.old) has taken to.... let's say..... enhancing her day to day activities. I wouldn't exactly call it lying but more like her own personal fantasies that she believes happen to her. For example, today when she came home from school I was asking her about her day. I asked her what job she had in the classroom this week. She told me that it is her job to feed the bunny this week. I said that must be fun and I asked her what she fed him. She said that she got to feed him carrots and that she gets to hold him like a baby and feed him a bottle. Mind you this bunny is NOT a baby and it is NOT small! But she told me this with such a straight face that I am intrigued to know if she really does this with the bunny. So then I asked her if she ever gets to let the bunny out of the cage to hop around. She immediately tells me yes and that sometimes the bunny hops around and he gets up on the ceiling. Now I know that everyone knows that bunny's can't hop on the ceiling, but the way she says it with the facial expression and absloutely no pause to come up with the story makes me start thinking if a bunny could in fact hop up on the ceiling. So I ask her how it gets up on the ceiling and she tells me that it just hops really high and that then it hangs for a while and then she catches it. I ask her what it hangs on and she tells me the beehive in the classroom. I start racking my brain trying to remember the beehive in the classroom. Then she says after she caught it she put it down and it started hopping around in the paper tunnels that she made for it. I said gosh he's a big bunny to hop around in paper tunnels! That is amazing! She looks at me and I look at her and in that moment unspoken words pass between us and she knows I know that didn't happen. We both smiled and started laughing and it was really funny. BUT my point is that she comes up with stories like this ALL the time! She doesn't even pause after my questions to think of a fantastical scenario it just flows out of her with an expression that makes me question if it in fact did really happen. I think I need to sign her up for some acting classes.

The Person of the Day

Today was Joselyn's turn to be "person of the day" in her kindergarten class. We had lots of fun making her poster this weekend and she was very proud. I went back and forth about putting that big picture of her on there because I thought it was not the most flattering picture of her but it was still cute. Anyway I decided we would go ahead and put it on there. When I showed it to Dustin I commented on the picture and that I wasn't sure if I should have put it on there. He laughingly said I should not have and that he thought she looks mildly retarded in the picture!! Honestly I kinda agree with him!!! My girls always make the wierdest faces in their pictures and this picture is case in point. By that time it was too late to take it off so now I feel really bad! What do you think? Did I just send my daughter to school to post up a picture of her looking retarded? You have to blow it up and really look at that 8x10.

This song seriously makes me happy!

Just wanted to get everyone excited for the season premiere of The Office on September 27!!! I love The Office.....maybe I will have an Office viewing party! I will buy a Dwight mask for Dustin, it is Halloween soon and I am sure I could find one.

So funny!

I could not stop laughing at this little kid. I think this is so cute! It is the third rip that gets to me and apparently he has no feeling in his head.

bop bop bop to the top

Joselyn thinks the patio in our backyard is her personal stage and multiple times a day she goes out there and practices her song and treats everyone in the neighborhood to her voice. Lilly has followed suit and I say them out there tonight singing together. Lilly was copying everything Josey did, it was very cute. Anyway Joselyn wanted to sing a song for the camera when she saw me get it out. If you want a little chuckle, here is her rendition of Bop to the top. Lilly had a little turn in the end as well.

mmm..mmm..good

Everyone needs to go out right now and find at least three friends that you think make good food. Three friends of mine and I are doing dinner swaps. Maybe some of you have done this before but this is new to me and I am so excited about it and I think everyone should do it! So there are four of us and we each picked a day out of the week to bring dinner to each other. My day is Monday and I make four main dishes and deliver them to the other three people. I don't cook them or anything I just assemble them and take them over sometime during the day with instructions on how to cook or warm up. Then someone else brings me dinner on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. If I am lucky I will have leftovers on Friday and that means I really only have to cook about three days out of the week. For someone who doesn't love love love to cook, this is great. I don't mind cooking but sometimes it just gets boring and I feel like I serve the same thing over and over again. Occasionally I will try something new off the internet but you always run the risk of it being disgusting, and I have had those experiences. Sometime I will write about the putrid brocolli crock-pot dish I made once that literally made us evacuate our house and seriously tasted like something that involuntarily comes up your throat, nasty is the best word to describe it. ANYWAY this is our first week but already I can see how awesome this is going to be! I have not had to worry about dinner at all this week except for Monday (and it was already made that morning sitting in my fridge so I didn't have to think about it at five o-clock when everyone is going a little crazy at my house), and we have had enchiladas, corn chowder, empanadas, and sweet and sour chicken WITH homemade eggrolls. I have the whole month planned out with everyones meals and it is so easy! I think everyone should try it. It is definately more beneficial than a hassle!

THANK YOU GRANDMA BETH

Thank you for the Color Me Mine puppies that the girls were waiting for. They were SO excited and have been walking around with them all day! We love you grandma!

like mother like daughter

Well I have had some let downs and change of plans concerning my marathon training BUT today I had something happen that has made it all worth it. First off the marathon, I have decided after not being able to run much this week due to the pain in my right leg that I have to drastically change my expectations and plans for the December marathon. I have injured my ankle now after pushing it this week and trying to run on a leg that isn't working for me. So I have decided after much thought and arguing in my head and tears shed that I am not going to be able to run the marathon in December. Just writing about it makes me want to cry. But I am going to continue to train to run the half marathon. I want tor un at least as much as I can with my sisters, I don't want to miss out on that. I am planning now to rest my leg for two to three weeks and really give it the necessary treatment and time to heal, hopefully. I also finally found a store that will really watch me run, analyze my shoes and my feet and tell me what I am doing wrong and what I need to do to fix it. At least that is what I am hoping they are going to say. So I will pick up training in a few weeks and I am okay with that. It is what it is and there really is nothing more I can do about it. I think this is the smartest course of action for me right now. Thirteen miles is still respectible, right? Anyway today though I got the best benefit from this whole thing that I could get. Maddy had the ipod on listening to her playlist that I created for her and asked if she could go running. I was a little surprised but thought, why not? So I told her she could run to the end of either of the houses next to us and I would go out and watch her. Honestly, other than wanting to feel better about myself personally, a lot of the reason I wanted to do this was for my girls. I wanted them to see a mom who was active and excersized so that hopefully they would follow in their own lives. Watching Maddy run and having her say, "This is how you do it" made me feel REALLY good inside. I hope that I am starting to create girls that want to be healthy and I want them to have a mom that is healthy as well.

Of course Lilly thought her and Maddy were playing the best game of "Gonna get you" EVER!

Dustin is Jasper

This is who you are Dustin with me answering the questions like I thought you might answer them. He's pretty sexy and one of the more dangerous ones.....woo hoo!

You're Jasper Hale - You have a calming personality and a simplistic way of looking at life. People like to be around you because you can help keep peace and are friendly to everyone. Although you do have a quiet side, you would be well balanced with a bubbly, spunky mate.

Boyfriends and popcorn

My sister-in-law Wendy posted a bit about her little five year old boy Tyler who has gotten married, or has two girlfriends, not sure which today. It made me laugh and I thought I would show how it must run in the family. Joselyn has decided that she has a little boyfriend too. His name is Benjamin and he is on our soccer team and then ended up in her Kindergarten class and they sit right next to each other. Well we had a game recently and the both of them ended up on the side lines and we all got to witness their love for each other. They couldn't stay off of each other! They were hugging and playing with each others hair, and touching each others noses, and holding hands out on the field AND at one point I looked over and Josey had tackled him trying to kiss him! At that point I was very startled and ripped her off of him and sat her on her bum and tried to keep one on the field and one on the side lines at all times. Needless to say it was a little embarassing and funny and we had "a talk" about personal space and not laying on our friends kissing them. She still comes home and tells me all about Ben and how they sit together, they play together and they walk around the playground together and hold hands. Like Wendy said, cute when they are five, scary in ten years. The dark haired on is Ben. This is Dustin's new favorite picture I think. Lilly has become obsessed with popcorn! She loves popcorn and she loves to carry it around in a little bowl. She asks for it almost everyday. The cute thing is she carries it like this and rarely spills it. It is just an accident if she does end up spilling it and she is very upset and we have to pick it up and put it back in the bowl for her to carry. She carries it just like this too, with her one arm, way up high by her face. It is really cute!

Way to go Dustin!

I just wanted to blog about my wonderful, smart, husband who on Friday got the great news that he passed the Oregon bar! I am so proud of him and so impressed by his ability to take care of our family and to accomplish things that I can't even imagine taking on. I am constantly impressed with his mind and his ability to remember so many things. Sometimes I am not sure why he remembers some of the stuff he does, like wierd stats for sports he doesn't even watch, but none the less he has an amazing mind and I am so proud of him. He is now certified in Nevada and Oregon, two states down, only 48 more to go honey! just kidding. It was a little surreal for us this time around since we both felt like he passed back in July. When he got the news I can't say that either of us were surprised which honestly is a wierd reaction especially for Dustin who always thinks he has failed everything. It wasn't that we weren't happy or excited because we were, but it just felt like we already knew. We had to almost force ourselves to celebrate because again it just felt like we already found out back in July. But I am sure it will continue to sink in that Dustin doesn't have to study or stress out anymore, hopefully ever, about taking this make or break test! Your girls love you Dustin and are so proud of you!

Marathon

So I have posted my latest runs to my blog. I am a little embarrased because they are like fairly pathetic runs but I love tracking my sisters runs and I wanted to do the same. After taking an entire week off because of my leg and my pinky toe (which is why my first two runs on there are SO pathetic) I decided to give it a try tonight. I was stupidly going to try and go ten miles tonight but when it turned out that I didn't get out there until 9:30 and I have to sing in church tomorrow I decided against pushing my leg harder than I should and decided to get to bed. BUT I did manage to go five miles.....very slowly but I went five miles and I am okay with that. My run says I went just short of five miles but I actually did go five miles my ipod just died right there at the end, I was SO mad! I wanted it to say 5 miles! My leg was still bothering me but I am hoping that I rested it enough to continue to push through it. I could see from my shadow that I still run with a slight limp and I am sure that is not good but what are you going to do?

How boring am I? Who are you?

Which Twilight novel character are you?

Dustin's celebrity look-a-like

I can't believe how much I think Dustin and Mark Ruffalo look a like! I never saw that before.

Celebrity Look-a-like

This website is really fun you should try it out. Apparently my face matches up with these people. I finally figured out a celebrity that I think I look like, Holly Hunter. I morphed our faces together (unfortunately you can't post that) but it was scary how much our faces really matched up.

Lilly looks like mommy? Didn't see that one coming.

Josey really wanted to look more like daddy...too bad for her.

This one isn't much of a shocker.

in need of a baby whisperer

Lilly has decided that she has a lot to say....in her own language. I was going to post her comments on my quote of the day because I am sure they are hilarious but I didn't know how to spell it......or what she was saying. Before I got my camera out she was seriously discussing something with me, I just don't know what. If anyone has any ideas of what she might need to tell me let me know.

tears again?

Joselyn took the bus for the first time today and of course I started crying again! She looked so little getting on that big huge bus. She said she was quite nervous last night so we picked out her favorite new shirt that says lucky duck on it for good luck but this morning she was just fine and when the bus driver called for the kindergarteners to get on first she jumped right on and I didn't even have time to say good-bye. I kissed Maddy good-bye but Joselyn was already sitting with some little girls chatting away. She didn't even wave to me out the window! I think that was why I cried more than anything, gosh I am a silly mom. Anyway she kept asking me to follow the bus the night before. Well when she got on I thought she doesn't even know if I followed the bus or not but of course I still drove up to the school parked and got out and waited for her. I stood somewhere she wouldn't see me because I wanted to see how she was getting off the bus and how the school and bus driver were going to handle her finding her classroom but of course she was fine and they had the older kids walk the kindergarteners down to their classroom in a line. So I popped out of my hiding spot and surprised her and walked with her down to her classroom and gave her a kiss that I missed and said good-bye. Then I saw Maddy again and said good-bye and she was the one that got all sullen and whiny not wanting me to leave, ironic! So again I will say that the bus system here rocks! They actually drop Josey off in front of my house. They drive all the kindergarteners home to their houses. If they don't see me then they take them back to the school of course but how nice is it that I just have to stand on my front porch as they drop her off. Anyway, she did great, mommy did okay, and I will get used to it and she is excited to take it again tomorrow.

disappointed but not discouraged

This is for my fellow marathoners out there ( Josey's first soccer game is below). I think you all check this blog more often then our other one so I decided to blog about my run in this one. The 8 miler was today and it was disgusting disappointment. It was the saddest run I have had thus far. I am very disappointed in myself but not exactly descouraged because I learned some very valuable lessons that I am gald I learned early on in the training. I know that we have many many more long runs to redeem myself and I will be shooting for that next saturday with the ten miler. Anyway lessons learned: 1. There really is something to eating enough fuel and hydrating. I haven't gotten to the part in the book yet about what and when to eat but I am going to read it this week even if I have to skip ahead. I realized as I got out there today that I hadn't eaten since dinner the night before. I was seriously fatigued and tired. I have never been so tired in any of my runs and I could barely run a mile in a half. I was also freakishly parched. 2: Adequate rest is essential. I only got 6 hours of sleep last night and then had a lot of adrenaline in me from the game and trying to corral all the kids for the pictures. When that was over I rushed home and fed everyone lunch got Lilly down for a nap and then immediately went running. I really needed to rest and eat something and gear up for the run. I literally could not make myself run. Usually I can force myself to keep going but I COULDN'T do it! It was really frustrating and I ended up only going about four mile and I walked about two of those. 3: I need to keep myself cooler. I went at noon and it was in the eighties, which I know isn't that hot but it was really really hot for me with the sun beating down on my face. Anyway good lessons and I am looking forward to redeeming myself next week. On the brightside my leg doesn't hurt one bit! Part of the reason i was up so late was because I was looking up shin splints and stress fractures and freaking myself out. I even sayed a prayer begging Heavenly Father to help me heal my shin and apparently it worked because I am in NO pain! I haven't felt that good in weeks, so that give me encouragement as well. Anyway I hope everyone elses runs went well and thanks again mom and Beck for the awesome nike-ipod combo. I LOVE it and I can see how it is going to be a really great help in accomplishing our goals. RUN GIRLS RUN! Love ya!

FIRST SOCCER GAME!

Well Josey is officially a soccer player! We had our first game today and to Dustin's and my surprise we did pretty well. I was so nervous again and was up till about 1 in the morning just getting soccer stuff ready. We had pictures at 9 and then our game was at ten so I was up at like 7 becuase I couldn't sleep and I wanted to make sure I looked good for the picture since it was one that nine other families were going to put in all their scrapbooks(at least that is what we do with ours). But it went good and the kids surprisingly stayed pretty well in bounds and remembered which goal they were going towards. Most of them puttered out at the end and didn't want to play anymore and it was kinda hard getting enough kids to go in and play at the end which was pretty funny but it was really fun. Now we have another game on Wednesday, Saturday and then again on Monday! That is a lot of games I think. The upside is that I don't have to plan a practice for a couple of weeks! Anyway here are some pictures of our cute Joselyn finally getting her chance to play soccer. Maddy (the asst. coach) did a good job keeping the kids on the sidelines entertained and she was the one who actually took the pictures and I think she did a pretty good job for a seven year old.

She had to get one of herself, after all she takes soccer very seriously (those were her words).

The coaches also have to ref the games and Dustin did an exellent job considering he has never played soccer. I felt really bad because his heel and ankle were really bothering him a lot and when we got home his back hurt so bad he can barely walk. I hope he can move tommorrow poor guy.
Josey's favorite part of the game is snack time and she was so excited to hand out her snacks!
Josey and coach Jessica YEAH!

First Day of School!

Well the day has come and they were both off to school today! They looked so cute in their little matching outfits that they LOVE! They both start school at 8:00 which meant we were up at 6:45 because it takes about ten to fifteen minutes to get out to the school. I hate mornings. But we all got there on time. Next week thank goodness they will be taking the bus and I won't have to worry about getting dressed and stuff. Josey was pretty nervous this morning and she kept saying that she wasn't sure if she could go because she was afraid that her tummy was going to hurt (does that sound like anyone mom?). But when I would say that maybe we wouldn't go then she was quick to say that maybe she should just try it! She got there and couldn't wait for us to leave and was all ready to be a kindergartener and jumped right in. It was hilarious/sad though because as we were out in the hall hanging up her backpack this little boy ran out of the kindergarten class next to her screaming for his mom. When I say screaming I mean SCREAMING blood murder for his mom. Everybody stopped and looked because you couldn't help it and all the little kindergarteners looked like they were wondering what the teacher did to that kid and when it was going to happen to them. Anyway Dustin came and so he got to see Maddy's classroom and drop Joselyn off. Maddy was very excited about that. Kinergarten gave me just enough time to go home feed Lilly make a grocery list and go grocery shopping which was HEAVENLY with just a little baby! And I barely made it back in time to pick up Joselyn. I was actually the last parent there and I felt kinda bad but Joselyn was having a great time with her teacher. Mrs. Livermore is the sweetest lady and I already love her. Joselyn even got her first Beaver Bravo (the school awards) for begin responsible and respectful. She was very very excited about that and I was very proud of her. Anyway here are the fun pics! Maddy and Josey get to go out on the playground together which I find very comforting for both of them. It might hinder them from making and playing with other friends but I just love that they have eachother out there to always find and play with if they are feeling lonely.
Joselyn's brown school shoes. She LOVES these shoes and wants to wear them with everything. She thinks they look like polly pocket shoes.
What a lady-like stance.
I swear I fixed those red eyes but I put the wrong pictures on. Oh well.
Take a guess whether or not the headband stayed on all day.....your right it didn't!
Maddy's classroom.

Josey had no idea what that typewriter was. Isn't it funny how times change. There were so many things to see and do in her room it is like a big indoor playground. It made her really excited to have all the different things to play with. She said she made a new friend named Austin and they played firefighters and house together.
Had to throw one in there.

Joselyn is most excited about all the pets in her room.
They let the bunny hop around the classroom occasionally I guess. I thought that was pretty cool.

Maddy started school today! Her teacher is Mrs. Cooney-Mesker and she was thrilled that her firends Maddy D. and Annie were in her same class. She is ready to get back on the bus with her friends tomorrow! I can't believe she is in the second grade. It is wierd how different I feel just having one gone. I felt like I could go and do so many things! Even though Maddy is my easiest it still feels lighter just having one less child around. Anyway Josey starts school tomorrow and so there will be more pictures to come (we saved the matching outfits from grandma for tomorrow). She looks a little pregnant in this first picture.

Lilly in the bath and Josey out of the bath

This is Lilly taking a bath obviously (which if you look in her neck she was in desperate need of) but it is Joselyn in the background that cracks me up. She kept trying to get Lilly to say poop and then Lilly ended the bath. This video is before the first one just in case you are wondering if I left her in the pee pee water. But again Joselyn is trying to get Lilly to say poop. And these are some of her words that she knows. I would have tried to get her to say all the cousins names but I didn't think she would get through them all and Claudia, Julia, and Georgia were the most recent seen. She knows Nemo and monkey really well because she begs for a movie everyday and wants to watch Nemo and monkey(Curious George). She was playing really cute with the bears before I had the camera of course and by the time I got the camera she wasn't doing as cute things and Josey came in to distract her which is always the way it goes. But here she is.

Shout out

I just had to do a quick shout out to Dustin! Sarturday I ran my first long run which really isn't that long but it seems long to me. I had to go six miles! I went up to the track which meant 24 times around...it was really really boring and I don't plan on going to the track again for those long runs. Anyway we were planning on taking the girls to the state fair that day so I tried to get up early and run so I would be done and we could go. Well my alarm clock didn't go off and I got started later than I had hoped. Anyway about half way Dustin showed up with the girls and an ice cold water bottle! Could that be any sweeter? I really needed some water too. I told him that I wasn't even half way done yet and that I still had to go 14 more times around. Instead of making me feel like I had to hurry because we were trying to leave he just asked me if I was okay. I told him I was and he told the girls they would go home and eat breakfast and wait for mommy. It was really sweet and very supportive and I wanted to publicly tell him that I really appreciated the water and I really appreciate the support!

These posts are completely out of order because I was trying to do something different and obviously it didn't work. Anyway if you want to read them in order scroll down to the post "last weekend of summer vacation" and that was supposed to be the first post.

Dustin took some really pretty pictures of the gorgeous flowers they had on the temple grounds. The temple is tucked back in tons of huge trees and then the grounds are so beautiful. Just walking around the outside is so peaceful.
